About Studio 1 Sandpoint

At Studio 1 Sandpoint, we believe that dance is not just about learning steps, but about self-expression, creativity, and personal growth. We strive to create an environment where our students can explore their passion for dance, develop their leadership skills, and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

Many of our students have continued to dance in college, as instructors, advanced to professional careers involving dance as well as continued to dance throughout their lives. 

Dance has been an important part of their life  and helped develop many skills that can only be developed though Dance training.

We continue to strive to bring excellent training in a family environment where students are always welcome.

Charis was privileged to study with mentors from Ballet west, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, University of Utah, University of Arizona, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, among others. She was a principal member of the University Ballet company and has a B.A. in Dance from Brigham Young University emphasis in ballet performance, with pedagogy, and choreography close behind.
She performed professionally with Nevada Ballet Theatre and delighted audiences in the Smith Center, especially with her character portrayals in Sleeping Beauty,  the Nutcracker, and Peter Pan.

Some of her favorite performance experiences include: Long Beach Ballet ambassadors to China, Ballet West Academy elementary school outreach, and Odette in Swan Lake with Theatre Ballet.
